iGEM competition is a synthetic biology competition, aimed at Undergraduates, in which students create simple biological systems from standard biological parts (Biobricks) , hence creating biological machines. Each university can have multiple teams. In the 2013 competition, teams will participate in the regional jamborees and then the International jamboree. ( For us : Hong Kong (Asian) and then MIT ).
However, iGEM requires a lot of team effort, and hence this website, to raise awareness about our project, keep us in pressure and always working, and to be open about what we are doing, and actively engage with everyone.
